The Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery receives the 2010 American Academy of Dermatology Association Model State Award
Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (FSDDS) has been awarded the 2010 American Academy of Dermatology Association Model State Award as well as the Outstanding Media Event or Campaign, State Society Website, Patient/Community Education Program and Member Outreach/Communication Special Recognition Awards!
American Academy of Dermatology Association’s (AADA) Model State Award (MSA) program is run by the Academy’s State Society Development task Force (SSDTF) and is designed to highlight well-rounded state dermatology societies that have strong advocacy programs, educational offerings, community service projects, member outreach and development, and collaborative relationships with state medical organizations and the Academy. This year, in addition to the Model State Award several different Special Recognition Award categories were added to allow recognition of outstanding achievement in a variety of areas.
